Essay

   Dear Journal

During this semester in Computer Fundamentals, i learned a lot of things. i learned about the inside parts of the computer like the hard drive, motherboard and others. i also learned how to use differnet softwares like Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, and Excel. with the help from the book, i finished different labs that have to do with Microsoft programs. Those skills i learned will help me with my longterm goals because the career i am probably going to take is in the computer field. i now know the base point for all of the programming, designing and others. my goal is to learn how to design and program different games and by knowing the inside parts of the computer, i can easily fix problems and or improve the programs.
Technology is important for any career i am pursuing because nearly every career out there today needs the use of technology. with technology being a part of everyday life, it is important for me to be ahead and learn as much as i can about computers if i want to be successful in life in the future. more and more technologies are being used daily and if i do not know how to function a computer, i will probably fail at every job i get. I would like to learn a lot about game programming. i like playing video games and i sometimes wonder how they manage to design a game like that. it seems complicated for me right now but if i learned how to program games, i will be able to understand how they work.
I would probably pick either programming or apple. programming probably has what i am looking for in game design. apple offers high paying jobs that will probably help me in my career. i am really fine with both Academy major because they are both in the computer field and they both interest me.

                                                                                                                               Aldwyn Ador
